Depending on the severity of the water damage, this could cause serious structural issues; the bacteria that mold feeds on can literally start to eat through/rot your studs/beams, and potentially cause structural failure and collapse of the ceiling. I agree with u/first52 about reporting the mold to the property manager. In the meantime, I've found that a box fan sitting in the door aimed into the bathroom after showers does a much better job of drying than ceiling exhaust fans.
Paint it with a mold killing primer and then use a bathroom specified paint to paint ceiling. We had this issue when we moved in (damp bathroom) and the mold would come back. Once we painted, we haven't had any mold on the ceiling in the past 4 yrs.
